- Seat — when the guest arrives, seat them at their assigned table (or choose a different one)
Waitlist
The waitlist manages walk-in customers waiting for a table during busy periods.
Adding to the Waitlist
- Go to Waitlist
- Click Add to Waitlist
- Enter the customer's Name, Phone, Party Size, and any Notes
- Click Save
The customer joins the queue with a timestamp. The list shows their position and estimated wait.
Seating from the Waitlist

- Click Seat to assign them a table
- The entry is removed from the waitlist
Position Lookup
If a customer asks about their position, use the search field to find them by name or phone number. Their current position in the queue is displayed.
Integration with Floor Plan
Reservations and the waitlist work together with the floor plan (see Floor Plans & Table Layout):
- Reserved tables show a "Reserved" badge on the floor plan
- Occupied tables cannot be double-booked
- Seating a reservation or waitlist entry automatically marks the table as occupied
