Price Lists & Dynamic Pricing

Create customer-specific pricing tiers for wholesale, VIP, or staff purchases

Navigate to: Dashboard → Price Lists

Price list management requires Admin or Executive role.

Price lists let you offer different prices to different customers. Use them for wholesale pricing, VIP discounts, staff pricing, or any scenario where certain customers pay differently from the standard menu price.

How Pricing Works

When a customer is linked to an order at the POS, the system checks for a price list assignment:

  1. Customer has a price list → uses the price list price for each product
  2. Product not in the price list → falls back to the standard product price
  3. No customer linked → always uses the standard product price

Creating a Price List

  1. Click New Price List
  2. Enter a Name (e.g., "Wholesale", "VIP", "Staff Pricing")
  3. Click Save

Adding Products to a Price List

  1. Open the price list
  2. Click Add Items
  3. Search and select products
  4. Set the custom price for each product (in GYD)
  5. Click Save

You can add as many or as few products as needed. Only products explicitly added get custom pricing; everything else uses the standard price.

Assigning a Price List to a Customer

  1. Go to Customers
  2. Open a customer profile
  3. In the Price List field, select the desired price list
  4. Click Save

Once assigned, the POS automatically applies that customer's prices whenever they are linked to an order.

Removing a Price List Assignment

  1. Open the customer profile
  2. Clear the Price List field
  3. Click Save

The customer will revert to standard pricing on their next order.

Tips

  • Price lists stack with loyalty discounts — a VIP customer with a price list AND loyalty points can benefit from both
  • Review price lists periodically to ensure they reflect current costs and margins
  • You can create multiple price lists but each customer can only be assigned one at a time
