Floor Plans & Table Layout

Configure floors, tables, and manage dine-in seating visually

Navigate to: Dashboard → Tables

Floor plan configuration requires Admin or Executive role.

The floor plan gives you a visual overview of your dining area. See which tables are occupied, reserved, or available at a glance, and manage dine-in orders directly from the layout.

Setting Up Floors

If your location has multiple dining areas (e.g., main floor, patio, upstairs), create a floor for each:

  1. Go to Tables
  2. Click New Floor
  3. Enter a Name (e.g., "Main Floor", "Patio", "Private Room")
  4. Click Save

Switch between floors using the tabs at the top of the table layout.

Adding Tables

  1. Select the floor
  2. Click Add Table
  3. Enter:
    • Table Name/Number (e.g., "T1", "Patio 3", "VIP Booth")
    • Capacity (number of seats)
  4. Click Save

Tables appear on the layout with their name and capacity. You can add tables in bulk using the Batch Add option.

Table Status

Each table shows a colour-coded status:

Tips

  • Set up your tables to match the physical layout of your restaurant for easy reference during busy service
  • Use meaningful table names that staff recognise (e.g., "Window 1", "Corner Booth")
  • Review table capacity settings to ensure reservation sizing works correctly
